Rolling Stones Ballet to Open in New York in April 2019

We know what you're thinking -- Mick Jagger in pointe shoes and a leotard? Not quite. As the Rolling Stones gear up for their 2019 Stadium Tour, the frontman's girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick, is also hard at work. The talented ballerina is collaborating with Jagger to choreograph a new ballet set to the group's beloved music. Jagger is said to be curating the featured songs himself, including classics such as "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "Paint It Black", and "She's a Rainbow". The innovative production will first premiere this March at a ballet festival in St. Petersburg, Russia before opening in the U.S. at Lincoln Center in mid-April.
