November 16, 2017
With the Prudential Center, Indigo Hotel and NJPAC being ideal for destination corporate meetings and events in Newark, NJ, only 20 minutes from Manhattan, the city has been steadily raising its game. We are now seeing major chefs enter the city to compliment these venues, most notably with celebrity culinary talents like Marcus Samuelson. He is best known for the dining renaissance in Harlem with his flagship venue Red Rooster.
The menu, ideal for today's attendee, is farm-to-table, and inspired by the city's rich history that includes African-American southern cooking, Italian and Portuguese. Overall, Newark as a meeting destination provides attendees with 10-minute access to Newark Liberty Airport, and options to quickly reach both Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. It is also becoming a smart city that features hubs for healthcare and tech.
